Charlotte Hendricks, short term missions team member, with special responsibility for outreaches abroad.

Charlotte made an initial commitment with OM for 2 to 3 years, but as of now, she is planning on staying here indefinitely until God tells her to go elsewhere.

What was your job before coming to France?

Before coming to France to work with OM, I was a student. I graduated in May 2016 from the University of South Carolina with a degree in International Business and Marketing.

Tell us about your work?

I’m working in the Short-Term Missions department, so I get the best of both worlds. For me this position was a perfect fit because I get to use my administrative giftings working mostly in the office, but also have the opportunity to participate in face-to-face evangelism as well, through our outreaches all over France. I’m also sending French people abroad with OM for less than 3 months.

How did the Lord call you into missions?

I’ve always loved France and when I became a Christian after my first year of university, I realized that God put that passion in my heart for a reason. It breaks my heart to know that so many of the French people don’t know Jesus, and so I’m doing my small part to make the gospel known in France.

What are your prayer requests for the future of this ministry?

Please pray for the people who will hear the gospel as well as the people who come on the trips. I think short term mission trips are a great way for people to be exposed to ministry and the spiritual state in France, and my desire is that the Lord would draw out long-term workers from the participants.
