In our efforts to make the different ministries of OM France more sustainable over the long term, we launched a fund-raising project at the end of 2015 for our work amongst immigrants.
We are so encouraged to see fruit from both these ministries as several folk nearer to God, and as many Turkish believers responded to an invitation to come together and celebrate Christmas in a church south of Paris at the end of December.
Little did we know as we prepared the project and were getting close to sending it out, that the tragic events of November 2015 would bring the issue of immigration to the forefront of French people’s attention once again. After some thought, we realized that we just had to go ahead, that these events made these ministries even more important, and that they had a vital role to play in bringing love and hope to people groups that are too often ignored or even despised.
Our target was to raise 10,000 euros before the end of 2015. What a blessing to report that at the time of publishing this article, we have reached our target!
We have been overwhelmed by the response to this project, and reassured once again to see that our faithful supporters stand with us so generously and thereby enable us to have an even greater impact in the future.
With grateful appreciation.
